Because what you need is comfort you can put your hands on.
Healing Butter™, a soothing botanical butter of lavender, chamomile, aloe, tea tree, and eucalyptus in a rich, absorbing base. Made for tired hands, working shoulders, and the places the day settles.
Because I formulated it during a hard chapter of my own, when I needed something that genuinely brought comfort, you get a butter made by someone who needed it to work.
Because we make it in small batches from botanicals we grow and choose ourselves, you get the formula thousands have quietly returned to for nearly two decades.

The story
From Lila Avery-Fuson, Founder & Formulator
It began as my final formulation project. I built it for myself, in a season when my body needed care, and while it earned top marks, what mattered was that it brought real comfort. Nearly twenty years on, it is still one of my most loved creations.
Make it a ritual
For the full wind-down, pair Healing Butter™ with Instant Relief™. The two were made to be used together.
How to use
Warm a small amount between your hands and massage into the area until absorbed. Follow with one or two mists of Instant Relief™ over the same place, and let the botanicals cool, then gently warm, as they settle in.
Please avoid the eyes and face. Wash hands after using Instant Relief™; the basil oil can feel warm on the skin.

Packaging and recycling. Many of our packaging components are recyclable. We recommend taking them apart before sorting: remove labels, pumps, and caps. Our aluminium tins and bottles are recyclable, so separate the lid or cap first. Bottles and jars may be recycled. Labels, pumps, pipettes, and caps go in the waste bin. Pumps and pipettes are also lovely to reuse.
A closer look at lavender
A familiar name can hold more than one plant. The Tisserand Institute notes that different species within Lavandula produce essential oils with different profiles. A botanical name, such as Lavandula angustifolia, identifies the source plant more precisely than “lavender” alone. That distinction matters when choosing a lavender essential oil.
